Dale Lonsford, DVMDr. Lonsford has been the proud owner of Deer Park Animal Hospital since 1978. He graduated from Texas A&M University Veterinary College in 1972, followed by service in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps for 3 years. He and his wife, Yolanda, share their home with Selva, a 30 year old African Grey parrot, and Jess a malte-poo. They have 3 adult children and 6 grandchildren. His hobbies include anything the grandkids want to do. He has served as the President of both the Harris County Veterinary Medical and the Texas Veterinary Medical Associations.

Charmel Rodick, DVM, CVPMDr. Rodick is one of Dr. Lonsford's daughters and co-owner of the clinic. She enjoys working side by side with her father! Dr. Rodick received undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University. She completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University and spent her clinical year at Virginia Tech in 2005. She has an interest in surgery and feline medicine. Her family includes her husband Wayne, two children, and a Welsh Corgi named Nacho. She has also adopted fish, a cat, and a cockatiel. She enjoys business management and marketing. She received her Certification in Veterinary Practice Management in 2018. Her hobbies include camping, spending time outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dominique Gras, DVMDr Gras joined the Deer Park Animal Hospital team immediately following her graduation from Texas A&M in 2009. She attended Texas A&M University for both her Undergraduate Degree and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She has a special interest in Cardiology. Her family includes her husband Bobby, her daughter Lyla, and her son Lincoln. She shares her home with her dog, Prim and her cat, Baxter. Her hobbies include yoga, zumba classes, and reading.

Cynthia Allen, DVMDr. Allen joined the Deer Park Animal Hospital team after graduating and has been with us since August of 1987. Her family includes Terri Melton, her cat named Olive and a puppy, Katie. Her interests include internal medicine, feline medicine, and ophthamology. Her hobbies include spending time outdoors hiking, gardening, traveling, and photography.

McKenna Schoppe, DVMDr. Schoppe is a La Porte native, having graduated from La Porte High School. She completed her undergraduate degree in animal science from Texas A&M University. Dr. Schoppe completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University and her clinical year at Texas A&M. She has special interest in surgery, internal medicine, and large animal medicine. Dr. Schoppe shares her home with her fiance, Shane as well as her blue heeler named Myah and her German Short haired Pointer named Jasper.

Ryan Howard, DVMDr. Howard joins us from South Texas, where she grew up raising goats, pigs, and chickens for the local livestock show. She received her Bachelors of Animal Science at Texas State University. She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at Texas A&M University. Her interests include internal medicine, preventative care and dermatology. She shares her home with two Rat Terriers, Rylee and Stella. In her free time she enjoys traveling, hunting, fishing, hiking and anything on the water.
