She has worked on companion animals such as dogs and cats, small and furry such as ferrets and rabbits, and scaly and slithery such as iguanas and snakes. She also donated her time performing surgeries on injured/debilitated sea turtles at a local Sea Turtle Rescue.

She also enjoys spending time with her animals as she boasts a zoo of her own, including a Border Collie mix named Bentley, 2 cats who respond to Olive Oyl and Gizmo, 2 snakes Pete and Lily who only respond at feeding time and cuddle time, 2 chameleons who have not learned their names but are called Remmington and Kuppa, 3 leopard geckos D'Artagnan, Aramis and Athos. Though she is close to her dream of living with the animals, she is lucky to also share her home with a two legged companion who answers to Jim, and tiny little tot named Charlotte.
